1978 came and went and Unicorn's third American (4th in the UK) album was ignored. Even though this album may not have been stronger than its predecessors, it is nonetheless wonderful. Songs like "Eric," "Get Along Fine" and "So Hard To Get Through" are little gems of Pop music with a slight country tinge but just didn't have that something special enough to break the band and so this marked the end of Unicorn. But with a catalog of inspired music behind them, they had made their mark and continue to do so to this day.

The Buddah Box is a 3CD box set compilation released by ESX in 1993. It honors the Buddah label and some of its more well known subsidiaries, including Kama Sutra, Sussex, Hot Wax and Sutra. It contains a nice exploration of their roots as pop and bubble gum music aficionados before they explored rock, gospel, soul, disco, and hip-hop by the time the labels closed shop in the early 1980's.

Having fully settled into their stripped-down acoustic size, Chumbawamba document several months of touring with a live album. Interestingly, there aren't that many songs from their last disc; instead it's a skip through not only through their back catalog, but their traditions. Of much greater importance now are the harmonies they've honed over the years -- indeed, there's quite a bit of unaccompanied singing where they acquit themselves very well -- with the music more as a backdrop to the voices.

Contra is the second studio album by the American indie rock band Vampire Weekend, released in January 2010 on XL Recordings. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The album title is intended as a thematic allegory and a complex reference to the Nicaraguan counter-revolutionaries, the 1980 album by The Clash Sandinista!, and partially to the Contra video game. On December 1, 2010, it was announced that Contra was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Alternative Music Album". This album was number 6 on Rolling Stone's list of the 30 Best Albums of 2010. Arriving after a year's worth of anticipation that included plenty of blogger appreciation, several EPs, and inclusion in the BBC's Sound of 2013 shortlist, Chvrches' debut album, The Bones of What You Believe, surpassed the significant hype surrounding it. It consists of a soundboard recording done at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 30 June, 1966 during the group's last tour. Highlights include performances of "Nowhere Man" and "If I Needed Someone". This is the full length Budokan show, as the original bootleg album released in 1975 was incomplete.
